Bringing up the rear is Louisville at 21-18 and only 2 games out of first. They have won 7 of their last 9 games as well. They have also played playoff contending Trenton and Iowa City over that stretch. Lousivlle is getting it done on the mound. They are first in Team ERA, third in Quality Starts, and 2nd in Inherited runners scored. Which is pretty impressive considering they play in more of a hitters park They are being led by 24 year old Phenom pitcher Clay Vernon, who is 5-1 with a 2.97.
