Arfy's Ramblings Ep. 8 PLAYOFF EDITION

So I'm looking at the standings, and I notice there are alot of good races.  Especially in the National League where every division is within 3 games.  So I decided to go through all of the teams that are really close to the division or wildcard spot and see how many games they have left against opponents that are over .500.  Here are my findings:

Team             W   L   GB   Games left with Opp over .500

NL North
Iowa City      69-54   ---    12
Fargo            67-56    2      22          Looks like quite an uphill climb for Fargo, They finish the season with
a 3 game series against each other at Fargo.

NL East
Cincinnati      60-64   ---    26
Philadelphia   58-66    2      24    This could be a great race!

NL West
Seattle          75-49   ---     23
Colo Spr       75-49  ---     17   Colo Springs has a good opportunity here.
Ok City         66-57  8.5     12

NL South

Houston        72-51   ---    19
Jackson        69-54    3      17
Louisville      69-55    3.5   14   This entire division could come down to the last day.  Jackson and
Louisville finish the season with a 3 game series at Jackson..

AL East
Durham       77-47      ---    16
Boston         75-48     1.5    15  They finish off season with a 3 game series at Boston.

AL South
New Orleans 69-54    ---    10
Tampa Bay    69-54    ---    22  Quite a disadvantage for Tampa Bay.  I think I just made
                                                  Fantasy Freas day!

AL West Wildcard
Vancouver        67-57    11   12  Vancouver has a good shot at getting the second wildcard spot.
