Kris has good control of his fastball which hits 92 to 95 on the radar gun, but it is a straight pitch which is very hittable. His slider is plus-plus and may be the best in all of the minors. His change up is a very solid second pitch rated as a plus pitch. When his slider is on, he can handle batters. When he has to rely on his fastball, he sees trouble brewing. Kris has the ceiling of a AAA SP with the floor of a AAA SP. Kris just doesn't have it to make it to the majors.
