Mac feel in the draft due to some signability issues, but boy was he worth the pick for Vancouver. He possesses plus power and scorches the ball versus lefties. He can hold his own versus righties and makes average contact. He knows how to take a walk. Defensively, he looks to stay behind the plate which only increases his value. He calls a good game and is improving at framing pitches. Mac will play about 120 to 130 games per year which is about average for a starting catcher. He has the ceiling of an All Star ML catcher with the floor of an above average ML starting catcher. Mac should be in the majors in a couple of seasons.
