Sammy has a cannon for an arm. He calls an excellent game behind the plate. His coaches identified him as a DITR this season due to his improved power. He possesses above average power which may improve a little more. He definitely struggles against right-handed pitchers and will continue to. He has a lot of swing and miss. Defense and power will be his calling cards which will propel him into the majors. Sammy may be in the majors as a starting C or be the backup next season.
