Minor League Update

Eugene Harvey pulled up lame running to first three days ago playing against the High A Washington D.C. Justices. His hamstring is tight, and he is listed as day-to-day. The trainer thought it could take several more days before he is back to normal.

Ralph Young was placed on the 60-day DL retroactive to April 28th. While pitching in the bottom of the 7th inning of a game against the AA Oklahoma City Prairie Dogs, Ralph felt a pain in his elbow. It looks to be tendinitis after the MRI came back clean for any tears. Although it is good he won't be out a year due to something like Tommy John surgery, he will miss a couple of months.

Milt Leary picked up the win in his last game against the AAA Colorado Springs Night Watchmen. He came in and pitched 1 and 2/3 innings allowing 1 HR and bumping his ERA up to 5.15 for the season. After the game, he was placed on the inactive list. We aren't sure if he was injured during the game, or if his manager was upset with the way he has been pitching this season.
